Firstly, pores. When using automatic welding equipment in all position welding, porosity is a common problem, which can be caused by many factors, such as the welding material itself, improper operation, environmental factors, etc. In view of this, to effectively prevent this problem, gas protection should be strengthened during welding. The welding temperature should not be too high, and gas should be filled strictly according to the proportion and relevant requirements to ensure that the filling purity meets the requirements. At the same time, attention should also be paid to the environment around the welding site. If the wind speed at the construction site exceeds 8 meters per second, a windproof shed should be used for protection, and the environmental humidity should not be too high. In addition, to ensure that the welding position remains dry, heating can be carried out using a circular flame heater or a medium frequency induction heater.

Secondly, there is no fusion. In welding, the problem of incomplete fusion often occurs at the vertical welding position, and the reasons for this problem include incorrect grinding shape of the weld bead, deviation from the weld seam during welding, or unreasonable swinging width of the welding gun.

In view of this, during the welding process, when carrying out weld bead polishing operations, it should be polished as flat as possible. Before welding, the welding wire should also be carefully observed to see if its swing width is correct. In addition, during the welding process, if any deviation is found between the welding pool and the center of the weld bead, adjustments should be made in a timely manner to avoid incomplete fusion.
